Michael Chauvin, Local Sales Director
Michael started his media career in 2002 with the Asheville Citizen-Times. He joined The Post and Courier in 2010 as the Classified Manager and after 5 years, became the Publisher of Summerville Communications.
In 2018, Michael joined the NOLA Media Group as the Director of Local Market Sales. Originally from south Louisiana, Michael was able to get back to his roots during this time. With family living in Mount Pleasant, getting back to Charleston was important to Michael
As Local Sales Director, Michael works with the local retail sales team to develop long term partnerships with local SMBs. His team’s goal is to create and execute strategic marketing plans that drive results for clients by leveraging incredible content, first-party audience data and targeted digital services.
Michael enjoys spending his time in Charleston with his daughter and golden doodle. He also enjoys exercise and strength training.
Despite falling in love with New Orleans during his time there, being away from his daughter was tough for Michael, so he is excited to be home in the Lowcountry.
