Charleston’s Choice is The Post and Courier’s community-driven voter’s choice awards. Each year, we ask our readers and businesses to vote for their favorite businesses, places and things to do across multiple categories. These categories showcase both the established and new in health care, shopping, professional services, food and dining, children’s activities, real estate and pet needs.
Contest Details
The Post and Courier's Charleston’s Choice voting period takes place in 2 phases.
Phase 1 Nomination/Voting Period: Wednesday, May 1– Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.
Phase 2 Finalist Period listing up to Top 10 Finalists in each category: Wednesday, June 5 – Sunday, July 7, 2024 at 11:59 p.m.
Phase 3 Celebration: 1 Winner* and up to 3 Finalists will be contacted by mid July. Winners and Finalists will be published in a special Charleston’s Choice publication in The Post and Courier on Sunday, September 8. A special event to celebrate the 2024 Charleston’s Choice will be held on September 26. Event details to come at a later date.
